A Little About the LTG
Founded in 1979 and formerly known as the London Toxicology Group, The LTG brings together a diverse community of professionals with a shared interest in the detection, measurement, and interpretation of drugs, alcohol, poisons, and their metabolites in biological samples.
As a hub for analytical toxicology, the Group promotes the advancement of the science for public benefit and education, with over 200 members spanning clinical, forensic, workplace, academic, and research disciplines across the UK, Ireland, and beyond.
Through regular meetings that blend scientific discussion with informal exchange, LTG fosters collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional development. Whether you’re looking to join as a member, support the community as a sponsor, or learn more about who we are, we welcome your involvement.
